Generally speaking, the higher the dash cam definition the better, the high definition can help you clearly shoot the object in the distance(licence plate), the recorded video will be clearer with high resolution, but the video file size recorded by high resolution will be larger, so which resolution of dash cam is better?
Currently, the top-notch dash cam in the market is 1080p dash cam, but the video file recorded by 1080p is a little big.
For example, recording the video for 4 hours, 32G storage card is enough for 1080p, while only 16G is enough for 720p, there are almost double gap between the two resolution.
So which resolution of dash cam to choose should be based on your actual demands.
